Timemore has a lot of new products coming out in 2025. It kicked off with the Brick 01S electric grinder, followed by the Whirly 01S portable electric grinder, and now the Timemore C5 manual grinder takes the final leg! The Timemore C3s was already a highly cost-effective manual grinder, but the C5 takes it to the next level. At a similar price point for beginners, the burr has received a significant upgrade!

The burr is the heart of a grinder. A high-quality burr + excellent precision = a professional manual grinder. This generation of Timemore C5 has been further upgraded, significantly improving grinding uniformity and delivering flavor quality far superior to conventional burrs.

Equipped with the original S2C-042-111 patented burr, a 42mm seven-star all-purpose burr, it boasts a 16.23% increase in effective grinding area compared to the previous S2C660 burr (C3s burr).

The Timemore C5 and C5ESP are assembled with the original S2C-042-III patented burr. The grind size distribution is more concentrated, resulting in superior flavor performance. The original S2C (Spike To Cut) grinding method can also handle regular espresso preparation.

Through several generations of innovation from C2 to C5, TIMEMORE has continuously strived for the authentic expression of "sweet and clean." Compared to the C3/C3s, the Chestnut C5, by adjusting the grind, maintains some slightly coarser particles while achieving a more concentrated overall grind size distribution, with a grind size concentration increase of about 5% compared to the C3S. This maintains a good sweetness, preserves clean and bright acidity, achieves an ideal balance of sweetness and acidity, and allows for a concentrated flavor intensity, making it easier to extract a "sweet and clean" cup of coffee.
