Aiden is fully functional right out of the box via the dial and LCD screen interface.
The corresponding mobile application is available today, but currently only keeps your Aiden updated. Fellow will be releasing the Brew Profile sharing feature tentatively starting on October 15th. We expect this to be a rolling update that may take several weeks to update on all devices. Additional features like mobile control/scheduling will be rolling out over the next few months.
Fellow recommends that you download the app and sync up your device upon purchase to ensure you get updates and are able to leverage mobile features upon release. As long as Aiden is connected to the Internet, the updates will download automatically so there’s no lift on your end.
The app release timeline does not impact the use of any features on the Aiden device itself, so let's get brewing!

What is a brew profile?Think of a brew profile like a brew recipe. We have developed built-in brew profiles for light, medium, and dark roasts, and cold brew, but you can also dial in your own recipe. Customize as many variables as you’d like to create a personal brew profile and share it with others. Once connected, Aiden will automatically download the latest brew profiles for Fellow Drops coffees each week.
