The CUITISAN Signature Series Stainless Steel Microwaveable Lunch Box is made from 316 stainless steel. 316 stainless steel is composed of 18% chromium and 12% nickel, making it extremely durable and strong. 316 stainless steel is very robust and corrosion-resistant. It is often used in chemical and medical equipment.

316 stainless steel is superior to 304 stainless steel. In addition to being food-grade, 316 is also used in medical equipment. 316 stainless steel is a higher grade of steel. It is more corrosion-resistant, stronger, and also more expensive, making it the second most widely used stainless steel. Notes 

When using in a microwave, please note:

  • Please remove the lid and silicone parts before placing the container in the microwave.
  • Only place one container at a time; do not put more than one product in simultaneously.
  • Avoid direct contact between the product and the inner wall of the microwave.
  • Thoroughly remove food residue adhering to the product to prevent staining or discoloration.
  • Do not use an empty stainless steel container in the microwave.
  • Do not cut food directly on the product with sharp or pointed objects.
  • Please use only the heating function of the microwave (within 10 minutes).
  • Do not directly cook popcorn or melt sugar in the microwave.
  • When using the microwave, do not cover or tightly wrap the stainless steel container with aluminum foil / cling film.
  • As reheating takes a longer time, food may become drier.
  • When the container holds hot contents, do not touch the stainless steel part to avoid burns; it is recommended to use oven mitts.
  • Please read the instructions carefully before use.
