Doulton BTU 2501 water filter cartridge: Flush for 10 minutes before first use; flush for 2 minutes after 8 hours of inactivity before drinking; if unused for more than 3 days, it is recommended to flush with 1 liter of water. When the flow rate decreases, clean the ceramic surface (do not use detergent). The filtration effectiveness and lifespan of the cartridge depend on water quality, typically ranging from 6 to 24 months. If the water purifier is not used for 2 months or more, it is recommended to drain the water from the purifier and remove/air-dry the filter cartridge.
