The Timemore C3s was already a hand grinder with excellent value for money, but the C5 takes it to the next level. At a similar price point for beginners, it comes with a major burr upgrade!

The burr is the heart of a grinder. A high-quality burr + excellent precision = a professional hand grinder. The Timemore C5 generation has been upgraded again, significantly improving grind uniformity, and the flavor quality far surpasses conventional burrs.

The original S2C-042-111 patented burr, a 42mm seven-star all-purpose blade, increases the effective grinding area by 16.23% compared to the previous S2C660 burr (C3s burr).

The Timemore C5 and C5ESP are equipped with the original S2C-042-III patented burr. The particle size distribution is more concentrated, leading to superior flavor performance. The original S2C (Spike To Cut) grinding method can also handle regular espresso preparation.

Through several generations of innovation from C2 to C5, TIMEMORE has continuously approached the authentic expression of "sweet and clean." Compared to the C3/C3s, the Chestnut C5, by adjusting the grinding, retains some slightly coarser particles while making the overall particle size distribution more concentrated, with a particle size concentration improvement of approximately 5% compared to the C3S. This maintains a good sweetness while preserving a clean and bright acidity, achieving an ideal balance of sweet and sour. At the same time, it delivers concentrated flavor intensity, making it easier to extract a "sweet and clean" cup of coffee.
