Unlike previous models, the Hario NEO dripper, the V60 Dripper NEO, was developed with a focus on bypass flow – how smoothly water flows through the dripper.

20 years after the birth of the Hario V60 dripper, a new design (Hario NEO dripper) has emerged, further expanding the flexibility of coffee brewing. 72 ultra-fine spiral ribs ensure even water distribution and converge into 9 ribs near the outlet, effectively preventing over-extraction. This design enhances the coffee's richness and clarity while suppressing the production of undesirable flavors. By intentionally increasing the contact area between the filter paper and the dripper wall, this design allows water to flow along the entire surface, not just the center.
